A multi-talented and versatile artist, Sky Ferreira is an American singer, songwriter, model and TV and film actress who started her career in the entertainment business as a singer. She started uploading her videos on Myspace of herself singing her original songs, which eventually caught the eye of the producers Bloodshy & Avant and offered her a recording contract with Parlophone in 2009. After her brief stint with the Parlophone, Ferreira, released her maiden play, which was titled As If! (2011). A year later, she released her second play Ghost in collaboration with Jon Brion and Shirley Manson.
In 2013, following the dispute with the record label, the singer-turned-actress released her first studio album Night Time, My Time. The same year, Ferreira ventured in the film industry and appeared in The Green Inferno (2013), an adventure horror film directed by Eli Roth. Her other notable films include The Trust (2016), Elvis & Nixon (2016) and Baby Driver (2017), an action crime comedy directed by Edgar Wright. Apart from acting in films, Ferreira is also known for her work in the TV industry; she made her debut on the small screen with the popular series Twin Peaks (2017).
