Smita Talwalkar was a Indian actress, working in the Marathi film industry. She made her debut in Tu Saubhgyavatiho (1986), followed by a National Award as producer for Kalat Nakalat (1989). She also appeared in Tu Tithe Meee (1998), Saat Chya Gharat (2004), Checkmate (2008) and Ek Hoti Wadi (2011). Talwalkar passed away on August 6, 2014.
