A popular actor in the Bengali film industry, Soham Chakraborty started his acting career at the age of three and made his debut on the silver screen with Choto Bou (1987). The two-time winner of Star Jalsha Entertainment Awards and one Tele Cine Awards, Soham has featured in several popular films including Lathi (1996), Ek Tukro Chand (2003), Bajimaat (2008), Le Halua Le (2012), Jamai 420 (2015), and Amar Aponjon (2017), which is the remake of the 2004 Tamil-language film Autograph. His 2018 ventures include Honeymoon, Rong Beronger Kori, Piya Re, Bagh Bandi Khela and Ami Sudhu Tor Holam. His 2019 projects include Jamai Badal, Googly, Bhootchakro Private Limited and 17th September. His 2020 release includes Hullor.
