The Sangeet Natak Akademi recipient, Sohini Sengupta is an Indian film and theater actress. For appearing in Aparna Sen`s Paromitar Ek Din (2000), she bagged the Best Supporting Actress Award at the 2000 National Film Awards. Sohini has further appeared in films like Icche (2011), and Alik Sukh (2013). Her 2017 release includes the movie Posto. Directed by Shiboprosad Mukherjee, and Nandita Roy, the movie stars Lily Chakraborty, Mimi Chakraborty, Jisshu Sengupta and Soumitra Chatterjee in the lead.
