Soma Chakraborty is an Indian film actress who predominantly works in Bengali cinema. She debuted in 1968 with the movie Apanjan, and then went on to star in several movies like Kahini, Dekha, Bandhu, Nobel Chor, and Goynar Baksho. She also starred in two TV series Checkmate and Byomkesh Bakshi. Her 2017 release includes director Suvendu Ghosh`s Bengali drama film Shunyota, opposite Rupali Chakraborty and Debesh Roy Chowdhury. Her 2018 releases include Gobhir Gopan Brisht, directed by Narottam Prasad Sil. Her 2019 releases include Tushagni, and Brahma Janen Gopon Kommoti.
