Often seen playing supporting roles, Sonali Gupta is known for her work in the Bengali film industry. First seen on the big screen in 1971, Sonali made her debut with Pratham Pratishruty, following which she was in a handful of Bengali movies such as Harmonium, Ek Je Chhilo Desh, Sanai, Bandhan, Priyatama, and Projapoti Biskut.
