A top star of the South Korean entertainment industry, Song Joong-Ki is a film and television actor. After making his debut in 2008 in A Frozen Flower, Song rose through the ranks over the years. His work in the TV drama Sungkyunkwan Scandal (2010) and was highly praised while his role in the drama Descendants of the Sun (2016) and The Innocent Man (2012) earned him international recognition. His feature film credits A Werewolf Boy (2012) and The Battleship Island (2017) both went on the list of South Korea`s highest grossing films. His more recent works include the film Space Sweepers (2021).
