Sonia Agarwal is an Indian actress who is primarily known for her work in the Tamil film industry. She made her feature film debut in the 2002 Telugu romantic drama Nee Premakai, and rose to prominence after playing the lead role in the Tamil romantic thriller Kaadhal Kondein (2003). Since then, she has appeared in popular films like Madhurey (2004), 7G Rainbow Colony (2004), Pudhuppettai (2006) and Vaanam (2011). For her performance in 7G Rainbow Colony, Sonia was nominated for a Filmfare Award (South) for Best Actress in 2004. Other notable film credits include Kovil (2004), Oru Kalluriyin Kathai (2005), Yevanavan (2017), Theetta Rappai (2018), Thanimai (2019), Ayogya (2019), Dasharatha (2019) and Miya (2020). Significant television credits include Malli and Achcham Thavir.
