Sooraj R. Barjatya is an Indian film Director, Producer and Screenwriter. Sooraj started his career as an assistant director with Mahesh Bhatt. Sooraj made his directorial debut with the film, Maine Pyar Kiya (1989), which was a huge box office hit. He also won the Most Sensational Debut of the year award for this movie. He later directed several movies like, Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! (1994), Hum Saath Saath Hain (1999), Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon (2003), Vivah (2006), Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi (2008) and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015).
