Sophie Hunter is an avant-garde theater & opera director and playwright. She made her directorial debut with the play The Terrific Electric in 2007. Apart from directing plays, she has acted in several movies like Vanity Fair (2004) and Burlesque Fairytales (2009). She married actor Benedict Cumberbatch in the year 2015.
