Sreeraj Raveendran started his journey in the film world as a second unit cameraman, working in the hit Malayalam sports comedy Godha (2017) early on in his career. Subsequently, he made his debut as an independent cinematographer with the thriller film Lilli (2018). In the same year, Sreeraj made his Sandalwood debut by helming the camera department in the Kannada romantic drama Katheyondu Shuruvagide (2018), which starred Diganth Manchale and Pooja Devariya in the lead roles.
