Narayana Swamy, or Srinath, as he is popularly known, is an Indian actor, known for his work in Kannada films. He has acted in over 200 films, and is a popular hero in the South. He debuted with the film Lagna Patrike (1967), and has gone on to act in blockbusters like Sukha Samsara (1970), Mayura (1975), Besuge (1976), Shri Raghavendra Vaibhava (1980) and Pooja Phala (1984). After establishing himself as a bankable actor, Srinath appeared in films like Idu Saadhya (1989), Ashwamedha (1990), Annayya (1993), Srigandha (1995), Swasthik (1999), Yuvaraja (2001) and many more. His most recent box office outings include Chandra (2013), Mandahaasa (2013) and Mr. And Mrs. Ramachari (2014). His 2019 release includes Kurukshetra.
