An Indian director, actor, music composer and screen writer, Srinivas Avasarala is known for his work in Telugu cinema. Having completed his diploma in screenwriting from the University of California, Los Angeles, he later went to Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute to learn acting and also performed in a few theater before working as an assistant director for a film called Blind Ambition. A year later, he made his debut as an actor with Ashta Chamma (2008) and immediately won wide popularity among the audience as well as won a Filmfare Awards South for Best Supporting Actor. His other notable film credits as an actor include Orange (2010), Golconda High School (2011), Oohalu Gusagusalade (2014) and A Aa (2016). His 2017 releases include Babu Baga Busy, Meda Meeda Abbayi and Next Nuvve. He is associated with the 2017 romantic thriller Okka Kshanam directed by Vi Anand. His 2018 release includes Deva Daasu.
