An Indian director, actor, music composer and screen writer, Srinivas Avasarala is known for his work in Telugu cinema. Having completed his diploma in screenwriting from the University of California, Los Angeles, he later went to Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute to learn acting and also performed in a few theater before working as an assistant director for a film called Blind Ambition. A year later, he made his debut as an actor with Ashta Chamma (2008) and immediately won wide popularity among the audience as well as won a Filmfare Awards South for Best Supporting Actor. His other notable film credits as an actor include Orange (2010), Golconda High School (2011), Oohalu Gusagusalade (2014), A Aa (2016), Babu Baga Busy (2017), Meda Meeda Abbayi (2017), Next Nuvve (2017), Okka Kshanam (2017), Deva Daasu (2018), Majili (2019), Oorantha Anukuntunnaru (2019) and Nishabdham (2020). His 2021 release includes Nootokka Jillala Andagadu.
