Sri Sri a.k.a. Srirangam Srinivasarao was a Telugu poet and lyricist born on April 30, 1910 in Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. Sri Sri Completed his higher education at Madras in 1931. He married Venkata Ramanamma at an age of 15 but later married Sarojini, with whom he had a son and three daughters. He was awarded Sahithya Academy Award – 1972, Soviet Land Nehru Award and National film Award along with various other honours. He died on June 15, 1983 at the age of 73 years in Madras.
