A renowned English actor, stand-up comedian, impressionist, screenwriter and producer, Steve Coogan started his career as a voice artist with the satirical puppet show named Spitting Image and later he did voiceovers for TV commercials. After his initial work as a voice artist, in the early 1990`s he started creating original comic characters, which won him the Perrier Award at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Having made his debut on the silver screen with Resurrected (1989), Coogan later starred in films like Sweet Revenge (1998), 24 Hour Party People (2002), Happy Endings (2005), Marie Antoinette (2006), Hamlet 2 (2008), The Trip (2010), Northern Soul (2014), The Secret Life of Pets (2016), Despicable Me 3 (2017) and Greed (2020).
