Stevan W. Miner popularly known as Steve Miner is an American director, best known as the member of Motion Picture Academy of Arts and Sciences. He started his career as an associate-producer and editor. Later he made his transition into successful director with the sequels,Friday the 13th Part 2and Friday the 13th Part III in which he received an honor of only director to direct more than one film in theFriday the 13thseries. His other box office success includes Halloween H20: 20 Years LaterandLake Placid. He has been married to Susan since 17 September1977.
