A popular musician in the Hollywood, Steven Argila developed a keen interest for music from a very early age; he started playing music since he was seven years old when his parent bought him an electric organ. By the age of 10, he started participating in many national competitions in playing piano, and organ. At the age of 14, Argila was accepted into the pre-college division of The Juilliard School where he continued his training for about four years and continued with a Bachelor of Music degree.

Having started his career a professional musician, Argila initially composed only for short movies like Phone Tag (1999) and The Bend (2002), before eventually getting his big break with Mad Song (2004). His other notable film credits include The Think About My Folks (2005), Max Steel film series', Abe and Phil's Last Poker Game (2017) and Basmati Blues (2018), a romantic comedy musical film directed by Danny Baron.
