Steven Shainberg is an American film director and producer. He is well-known for directing the 2002 erotic romance film Secretary starring Maggie Gyllenhaal and James Spader. This movie was liked by audiences and also received many awards. His other notable directorial venture was Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus (2006).
