Making his debut in 2016 with the drama, Dhumketu, Subhajit Singha is an Indian film editor who works mainly in the Bengali film industry. He started off his career as an assistant film editor after finishing his post graduation diploma in Animation Creation & Direction. Although Subhajit served as an editor on director Kaushik Ganguly`s drama Cinemawala in 2015, it released in India in 2016, making Dhumketu his debut movie. Cinemawala rave reviews at international and national film festivals. Since then, Subhajit has edited movies like Bastu-Shaap (2016), Bisorjon (2017), Khoj (2017), Commrade (2017), Maacher Jhol (2017), Chaya O Chobi (2017), and Shobdo Kolpo Droom (2018). Subhajit was awarded with West Bengal Film Journalists` Association (WBFJA) award for best feature film editor of the year 2016, and was also nominated for the Bengali Filmfare award for Cinemawala in 2016 and the WBFJA award for Bisorjon in 2018.

In 2018 Subhajit served as the cinematographer again on director Kaushik Ganguly`s romantic-thriller drama, Drishtikone. The movie has Prasenjit Chatterjee, and Rituparna Sengupta in lead roles. His 2019 Projects include Nagarkirtan, Shantilal O Projapoti Rohoshyo and 17th September. His 2020 releases include Michhil and Nirontor.
