A former model and film actress, Subhasree Ganguly is known for her work in Bengali cinema. The model-turned-actress who forayed in the entertainment industry with the talent hunt show Fairever Anandalok Nayikar Khonje made her debut on the silver screen with the Oriya film Mate Ta Love Helare (2008). The alumnus of Birla Institute of Technology and Science, after her debut film, shifted her focus to working in Bengali films. Few of her most popular films include Bajimaat (2008), Remeo (2011), Khoka 420 (2013), Bachchan (2014), Abhimaan (2016), Amar Aponjon (2017), Boss 2 (2017) and Nabab (2017). Her 2018 release includes Honeymoon, a romantic comedy directed by Premendu Bikash Chaki. Her 2019 release includes Parineeta, directed by Raj Chakraborty.
