An alumnus of National School and Drama, Subrat Dutta is an Indian actor who works mainly in Bollywood and Bengali film industry. Having made his debut with the Bollywood film Lajja (2001), he subsequently ventured into Bengali film industry and his maiden Bengali film was Swapner Feriwala (2002). Some of his other notable films include Zameen (2003), Mangal Pandey (2005), Toman Jonyo (2008), Talaash: The Answer Lies Within (2012), Tevar (2015), Sameer (2017), Hey Ram Hamne Gandhi Ko Maar Diya (2018) and Dotara (2019). His 2020 release includes Uraan.
