Sukhad Manik Munde is an accomplished Pakhawaj and Tabla artist who began his training at the age of six under the Guru-Shishya Parampara with his father and guru, Pt. Manik Munde, a renowned Pakhawaj maestro. He has accompanied several eminent vocalists, instrumentalists and Kathak dancers, including Pt. Jasraj, Pt. Ronu Majumdar, Pt. Uday Bhawalkar, the Gundecha Brothers and Ustad Bahauddin Dagar.
Sukhad has performed at prestigious music festivals and conferences across India and abroad, including Sawai Gandharva, IMG JanFest, Dhrupad Mela, Rajasthan International Folk Festival and the Darbar Festival in the UK. He has also toured Sweden, France, the USA and Dubai for various musical projects.
He performs solo, Jugalbandi and Tal-Vadya Kacheri and currently trains more than 50 disciples. He is also developing a devotional musical symphony titled MridangVani.
