Starting his career more than three decades ago, Sumeet Raghavan is an Indian film and theatre artist who is known for his work in the Marathi and Hindi entertainment industries. He has acted in Marathi theatre, Hindi serials and modeled for around 250 Ad films. Sumeet started his career in 1983 with television show Faster Fene, a popular detective character amongst kids. He continued with Marathi theatre for 15 years and worked with some great producers and productions, like Mr. Mohan Wagh`s Chandralekha, Mr. Prabhaka Panshikar`s Natya Sampada, Mr. Mohan Tondwalkar`s Kalavaibhav, Smt. Lata Narvekar`s Shri Chintamani, and many more. Some of his notable works on television include Mahabharat (1988-1990), Tu Tu Main Main (1994-2000), Hudd Kar Di (1998-1999), Shubh Mangal Savadhan (2002-2004), Sanjivani (2002-2005), Sarabhai vs Sarabhai (2004-2006), Ghar Ki Baat Hai (2009), Badi Dooooor Se Aaye Hai (2014-2016) and Sarabhai vs Sarabhai: Take 2 (2017- ). Sumeet`s big screen acting credits include movies like U Me Aur Hum (2008), Firaaq (2009), My Name Is Khan (2010), Kucch Luv Jaisaa (2011) and Holiday (2014). In 2018 Sumeet acted alongside Iravati Harshe and Nana Patekar in director Satish Rajwade`s Marathi movie, Aapla Manus, Bucket List and Ani... Dr Kashinath Ghanekar..

Besides acting and modeling, Sumeet enjoys singing and has learnt Classical Hindustani music under the guidance of Shri Suresh Wadka. Sumeet, apart from acting in the Marathi movie Sandook (2015), also sang in the movie. His 2019 release includes Welcome Home, directed by Sumitra Bhave & Sunil Sukthankar.
