A popular Indian actor, director, writer, and producer Sundar C is noted for his in the Tamil film industry. The actor-director who started his career in the film industry as an assistant director to Manivannan made his directorial debut with Murai Maman (1995), which also marked his acting debut. Following his debut, Sundar C later directed films like Ullathai Allitha (1996), Mettukudi (1996) before eventually gaining widespread recognition and fame with Arunachalam (1997), which not only become a blockbuster but also won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Film. His other notable film credits includes Thee (2009), Something Something (2013), Aranmanai (2014), Aranmanai 2 (2016) and Meesaya Murukku (2017), which is his production venture. His next releases include Kalakalappu 2. and Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven. His 2019 releases include Natpe Thunai, Action and Iruttu.
