Primarily known for his work in Malayalam cinema, Sunil Pillai has edited a number of popular movies over the last few years. Notable among these are the sports comedy Kavi Uddheshichathu..? (2016), the comedy Kuttanadan Marpappa (2018) and the multilingual psychological thriller Praana, which was directed by V.K. Prakash and featured Nithya Menen in the lead role.
