She is an Indian playback singer born and brought up in a musically-influenced family from Bengaluru .She learnt Carnatic classical music under the guidance of her grandfather Vidwan Munivenkatappa and learnt light music from playback singer Mrs. Manjula Gururaj.She has performed across the globe and has sung in over 1000 shows nationally and internationally in countries like Australia-Melbourne, Sydney,Perth, Malaysia, Thailand, Qatar, Bahrain, Muscat, Dubai, Kenya, Uganda etc.
