Supriya Menon was born on 31 July 1985 in Palakkad, Kerala. She pursued her education in India and later built a career in journalism. Before entering the film industry, she worked as a journalist and television reporter, including assignments covering cinema and entertainment.

Supriya Menon transitioned from journalism to film production and became a co-founder of Prithviraj Productions. As a producer, she has been associated with Malayalam and Hindi films including Driving Licence (2019), Jana Gana Mana (2022), Selfiee (2023), Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil (2024) and I, Nobody (2026). She is recognized for her role in managing and developing film projects under the banner.
