An independent writer and director, Supriya Sharma started career in the film industry as a script continuity supervisor in the acclaimed film Iqbal (2005) and subsequently worked with several eminent films makers like Nagesh Kukunoor. Having learnt the art of filmmaking, she went on to directed TVCs before eventually taking a big leap and directing a short film, Dhvani, which is one of the short films in the anthology film, Shor Se Shuruaat.
