A well-known face in Indian television industry, she started her acting career on small screen with the serial Woh Rehene Waali Mehlon Ki, under the banner of Rajshree Productions. She has also worked in various popular daily soaps, including Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein, Tere Liye, Kumkum Bhagya, Saheb Biwi Aur Bossand Kundali Bhagya among others.

The actor has appeared in supporting roles in many Bollywood films such as Parineeta, Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute to Love, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, 3 idiots, Bbuddah... Hoga Terra Baap, and many more. Her other projects include Main Tera Hero and Dil Juunglee.
