She is an Indian television actress. She got her breakthrough role by playing the parallel lead in Zee TV's popular daily soap Qubool Hai as Haya. Currently, she plays the character of Anika (Main Female Lead) in Star Plus's popular show Ishqbaaaz. She also appeared in the spin-off of Ishqbaaaz, Dil Boley Oberoi. She is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer.She was ranked 7th in the 2017 TV Personality list by BizAsia.She did TV shows like gun wale dhulaniya le jayege, Tarak Mehta ka ulta chashma,Qubool he, Meri Bhabhi ,ISHQBaaZ,a film with Vidhya Balan namely Bobby jaasoos, many Ads like Bigbazar,olley , Reliance,Fevicol ,T20 etc. Chandna made an appearance in episode 6 of Farah Khan's ''Lip Sing Battle'' on Star Plus, where she lost to her Ishqbaaaz co-star Nakuul Mehta. Bollywood Life praised the duo's performance on the show, claiming that ''Nakuul and Surbhi's crazy antics made it the most enjoyable episode of the show so far.
