Suresh Krissna is an Indian film director who predominantly is associated with South Indian cinema, and also has worked in a few Hindi movies. One of his biggest hits was Annamalai in 1992, starring Rajinikanth in the lead role along with Kushboo and Sarath Babu. Revolving around the ups and downs in the friendship of a milkman and the son of a rich businessman, the movie turned out to be a big hit at the box office. His other blockbuster hit was once again a Rajinikanth starrer Baashha, which received huge positive reviews. He then directed a Telugu drama titled Daddy, in which he cast Chiranjeevi, Simran, and Ashima Bhalla in the lead roles. Revolving around a man who starts a chit fund business, Daddy was dubbed in Hindi as Meri Izzat. Suresh has made several other films such as Aalavandhan, Rocky - The Rebel, Gajendra, Jyeshta, Ilaignan and Arumugam. In 2012, he directed the Kannada romantic fantasy Katari Veera Surasundarangi, the first full-length 3D film in Kannada cinema, starring Upendra and Ramya in the lead roles.
