Suresh Suvarna

Born: January 1, 1970
Well-known for his work in Hindi, Marathi and Telugu cinema, Suresh Suvarna has served as the director of photography for over thirty films in the course of his career. His debut as an independent cinematographer came in the Bollywood film Annarth (2001), which featured Sanjay Dutt and Sunil Shetty in central roles. Subsequently, Suresh worked in movies like Ho Sakta Hai (2004), Kuch Khatta Kuch Meetha (2007), Hidden (2011) and Riwayat (2012).

The DOP has also been associated with popular Indian and international television shows; and ads for brands like Mahindra and Batliboi. Other notable works include the movies Marathi Gallit Gondhal, Dillit Mujra (2009), Goshta Choti Dongra Evadh (2009) and Gadya Aapla Gaon Bara (2013), the first of which he also produced. More recently, Suresh helmed the camera department for the romantic comedy WhatsApp Love (2019), which was directed by Hemantkumar Mahale.
