Indian actor Surya is well-known for acting predominantly in the Kannada industry. He made his mark first by appearing in the TV serial Akka and moved on to make his debut in cinema with the movie Preethiyalli Sahaja (2016). Kattu Kathe is his second venture into the Kannada film industry. He has also worked in Puttaraju Lover of Shashikala in 2018.
