Producer Susan Ekins' showbiz career spans well over three decades, in the course of which she has bankrolled a number of popular films and tv shows. She is perhaps best known for producing the biographical drama television movie Behind the Candelabra (2013), which won the Primetime Emmy Award that year. Among her notable feature film credits are the martial arts drama Karate Kid II (1986), Steven Soderbergh's Ocean's Trilogy (2001-07), the Jackie Chan starrer The Karate Kid (2010) and the heist comedy Ocean's 8 (2018), which is a spin-off from the original trilogy.
