Susan George has a Master's Degree in Acting from LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts), one of the premier drama schools in the world. She also has a Bachelor's degree in English (Hons.) from St. Stephen's College, Delhi.

Susan workshopped with Ian Rickson, former artistic director of the Royal Court, and performed at the Teatro Regio di Torino, Italy.

She played Venus in Arjun Sajnani's acclaimed production of David Ives' play, Venus In Fur, which played at the Delhi Arts Festival in 2015. Her recent productions include A Man for All Seasons by Robert Bolt and Girish Karnad's last play, Crossing to Talikote.

Off stage, she is the owner and chef of the catering company, Xanadu Kitchen.
