He later ventured into independent production with titles like Pugazh and Manavan Vanthandi, further establishing his creative and managerial expertise.

Beyond production, Sushant has been instrumental in South Indian film rights negotiations, particularly with leading OTT platforms. He currently serves as a Director at Vels Film International Limited, overseeing major productions and strategic business initiatives.
