Having made his debut with Ram Gopal Verma`s Satya, Sushant Singh is one of Indian cinema`s most sought after method actors, known for his character roles. He garnered immense acclaim for his portrayal of Durga Narayan Chaudhary, a slain bandit, in the 2000 thriller Jungle, playing the lead antagonist in the movie. Cementing his position in the film industry, Sushant was then seen in critically acclaimed movies like Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, The Legend of Bhagat Singh, Matrubhoomi: A Nation Without Women. Although he is seen playing supporting roles, his performance is barely unnoticed. Few of such appearances have been in Josh, Lakshya, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag: Journey of a Woman, Rakta Charitra, Hate Story 2, and Baby.
