The grandson of Tollywood legend Akkineni Nageswara Rao and the nephew of Akkineni Nagarjuna, actor Sushanth hails from one of the biggest film families in Telugu cinema. After completing his bachelor`s degree in electrical engineering, Sushanth worked briefly in the US before returning to India to pursue acting as a career. Subsequently, he made his feature film debut with Kalidasu (2008), where he essayed the titular role.

Following the success of Kalidasu, Sushanth has starred in movies like Current (2009), Adda (2013) and Aatadukundam Raa (2016). Sushanth`s 2018 projects include the film Chi La Sow, where he stars alongside Ruhani Sharma
