Swatilekha Sengupta is a Bengali Theater actress. She joined the theater group, Nandikar, in 1978 in Kolkata. She has received the Sangeet Natak Academy Award for her contribution to Indian theatre as an actor. She was also the lead female protagonist in Ghare Baire, a 1985 film by Satyajit Ray. Her 2019 release includes Barof.
