T Chalapathi Rao a.k.a. Tatineni Chalapathi Rao was an Indian music director, worked mainly in the Telugu Film Industry. He started his career as music director with the film, Puttillu in the 1953 jointly with music director, Mohan Das. He had been associated with nearly 125 films including Amara Deepam (Tamil), Punarjanma (Telugu), Mane Aliya (Kannada), Manushulu Mamathalu (Telugu) and many more. He died in February 1994.
