T. Prakash Rao (Tattineni Prakash Rao) was an Indian film director and producer. He was predominantly seen working in South Indian film industry. He worked in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages. Some of his famous films in which he had worked are Pogarubothu, Ganga Bhavani and Engalallum Mudyam. He was also a recipient of the Tamil Nadu State Award for his films, Ganga Bhavani and Engallalum Mudyam. He died at the age of 67.
