Born on November 18, 1997, in a small village in Bulandshahr and raised in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, Talhas journey is a testament to his talent and determination. Growing up in Bulandshahr, Talha developed a curiosity and love for storytelling that led him to the world of performance. His transformative journey began at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), where he pursued higher education and discovered his passion for theatre through the universitys Drama Club. What started as a casual extracurricular activity became a life-changing pursuit.
Talha earned a Bachelors degree in Philosophy from AMU, which further enriched his creative outlook. His time at the university was pivotal in shaping his artistic identity. He later trained at the prestigious National School of Drama (NSD) in New Delhi, learning under celebrated theatre stalwarts like M.K. Raina, Tom Alter, Imran Rasheed, and Bhawani Muzamil. This rigorous training refined his craft and prepared him for diverse theatrical forms.
Talhas love for theatre is evident in his extensive repertoire, having performed in more than 100 plays across India and internationally, in cities like Dubai, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Hyderabad. His standout performances include iconic plays like Zabaan Daraz, Sir Syed, Waiting for Godot, Tax Free, Andha Yug, Toba Tek Singh, Pagla Ghoda, and Aseer-e-Hirs. He has also captivated audiences at prestigious literary and cultural festivals such as Jashn-e-Rekhta and Jashn-e-Adab, earning widespread acclaim.
As a director, Talha has helmed critically lauded productions such as Jis Lahore Nai Dekhya O Jamyai Nai, Court Martial, and Saari Raat, showcasing his creative vision and technical expertise. Talha made his acting debut in 2012 as a child artist in the television serial Hum Hai Bajrangi. In 2017, he made his Bollywood debut in Majaz: Ae Gham-e-Dil, a biopic on Urdu poet Majaz Lakhnawi, earning praise for his portrayal.
