A writer, and a producer, Tanmayee Deo is a popular personality in the Marathi film industry. Having started her career as a second assistant director with Vihir in 2009, she subsequently made her debut as an associate executive producer with Duniyadari (2013). Her other notable film credits as a producer include Fandry (2013), Time Pass (2014), Half Ticket (2016) and Muramba (2017). The producer-turned-writer made her debut as a writer with Raakshas (2018), a Fantasy suspense thriller directed by Dnyanesh Zoting and featuring Sai Tamhankar, Sharad Kelkar, and Daya Shankar Pandey in important roles.
