Tanuja Chandra is an Indian Hindi film director and writer born on 3 June, 1969 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She started her career as a director with the TV serial Zameen Aasmaan in 1995. Her debut movie as a director was Dushman in 1998.She wrote screenplay for Yash Chopra`s Dil To Pagal Hai, which was a commercial success.Chandra is known for making women-centric films. She directed various hits films including Zindaggi Rocks, Sangharsh, Dushman and Hope and a Little Sugar. Her 2017 release includes Qarib Qarib Singlle.
