Tanusree Shankar is an Indian actress, dancer and choreographer. In a career spanning over three decades, she has appeared in a few Bengali films besides international films like The Namesake (2006) and The Waiting City (2009). Other significant acting credits include Agun (1988), Hemanter Pakhi (2002), Ekti Tarar Khonje (2010), Aparajita Tumi (2012) and Aroni Tokhon (2017). She has also served as the choreographer for the 2013 film Meghe Dhaka Tara.
