Tarali Sarma is an Indian singer and music director who works primarily in the Assamese film industry. Being from a family known for its expertise in the field of music, she won the National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer in the year 2003 for the Assamese film Akashitorar Kothare. As a music composer she has worked on movies like Laaz (2004) and Basundhara (2010). She has worked on the background score for Hemanta Kumar Das` directorial debut, Othello (2017). The movie cast include Arun Nath, Runu Devi, Arup Baishya and Jupitora Bhuyan. Othello won the National Award for Best Film (Assamese) in 2015. Her other 2017 movies include Antareen, directed by Monjul Baruah.
