About
Filmmaker, editor and VFX artist Taranjiet Singh Namdhari first rose to prominence in 1995, when his graduation film Nafs won a Certificate of Merit at the Santa Fe, New Mexico International Film Festival. Subsequently, he started his career as an editor and VFX artist with Western Outdoor Advertising in Mumbai.

Between the years 1997 and 2010, Namdhari worked on various feature films (Dil to Pagal Hai, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Mohabbatein and Moksh to name a few) for production houses like Yash Raj Films and Dharma Productions, in various capacities as creative director, editor and visual effects director.

In 2005, he made his directorial debut with the film It Could Be You, which starred Naseeruddin Shah and Kiron Kher in central roles. Over a decade later, in 2019, Namdhari made his sophomore directorial outing with the biographical adventure drama The Great Indian Escape.
