The winner of American Cinema Editors Award and an Academy Award nominee, Tatiana S. Riegel is an American film editor who is noted for her works in independent films. Known for her long-time collaboration with the late editor Sally Menke, she has worked in several films directed by the acclaimed director Quentin Tarantino. For her brilliant works in American films, Riegel became a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 2004.
Having started her career as an apprentice editor with the 1986 film, River's Edige, she later made her debut as the lead editor with Doppelganger in 1993. The same year she worked in Last Action Hero, which was her maiden venture as a visual effects assistant editor. Some of her other notable film credits include Mulholland Falls (1996), The Million Dollar Hotel (2000), Lars and the Real Girl (2007), The United States of Tara (2009), Million Dollar Arm (2014), I, Tonya (2017) and Gringo (2018), an American action comedy directed by Nash Edgerton.
