An American science fiction writer, Ted Chiang is known for penning down the story of the sci-fi drama film Arrival, based on a short story, Story of your Life, also written by him. Directed by Denis Villeneuve, Arrival stars Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner in the lead roles.
