Terry Rossio is an American screenwriter, born on July 2,1960inKalamazoo, Michigan, USA. He is best known for his work in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. Rossio won BAFTA Film Award, Annie Award, New Media Film Festival Award & Western Writers of America Spur Award. He has been nominated for an Academy Award for Best Writing for Shrek (2001). His 2017 release includes the fifth installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series-Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar`s Revenge. His other projects include Aladdin (2019) and Godzilla vs. Kong (2021).
